SPEAKER PROFILE: GREGORY H. BANZON



Mr. Gregory H. Banzon is the Vice President and General Manager of Century Canning Corporation. He was also the General Manager of RFM Corporation leading the company’s turnaround through rapid growth in sales and profits. In line with this, he was able to successfully revive the Sunkist brand and was also able to successfully launch low cost ready-to-drink milk that is currently growing its market share.

Prior to this, he was the Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson, Indonesia and a con-current Vice President for Marketing for Johnson & Johnson, ASEAN (September 2004 - January 2006). During his term, he was able to recover the market share loss during the Asian Crisis for the Johnson’s Baby brand, and made Indonesia the 10th largest Clean & Clear business of Johnson & Johnson globally.

Other executive positions he handled were: Regional Marketing In-Charge for the Johnson’s Baby brand - Johnson & Johnson, Asia Pacific (December 1999 - June 2000); Sales Director - Johnson & Johnson, Philippines (1997 - 2000); Marketing Manager - Johnson & Johnson, Philippines (1996 - 1997); and Marketing Manager - Bayer, Philippines (May 1989 - August 1995).

Mr. Banzon graduated top 10% of his class with a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce major in Marketing.
